Les Collons can be reached from Sion in 30 minutes by car, and from Geneva airport it is just under two hours by car. In the summer months it is possible to drive right up to the house, in winter there is a car park from which the last 100 metres must be covered on foot. It is generally advisable to have snow chains in your luggage.

It is easy to get there by public transport. From Sion train station, the post bus goes to the tourist office in Les Collons. From there, it is a 30-minute walk to the house. You have to take into account that the last bus leaves in the early evening.

To ski

The 4 Vallées offer a 410 km network of ski slopes and freeride routes in winter, and hundreds of kilometers of hiking and mountain biking trails in summer.
The highest point of the ski area is the Mont-Fort, which towers over the ski area at over 3,300 metres. The panorama includes the Matterhorn (4478), the Dent Blanche (4357), the Grand Combin (4309), the Dufourspitze (4634) and the Mont Blanc (4805).

Hiking is one of the most popular activities in Valais.
With over 8,000 kilometers of marked hiking trails, all hikers will find their way here: to high peaks, through fragrant larch forests and nature parks, along irrigation channels, on historic routes or over suspension bridges and wine trails.
